The Fabulous Ashton Memorial & Northcote Manor Wedding Day of Balsam & Chris

We've had a splendid time planning the flowers for this glorious wedding, Balsam & Chris had to be seriously focused as our very first appointment with these two was only about 5 weeks ago, thank goodness their wedding was on a Wednesday!!! Thankfully the lovely Balsam had a really good idea of the look she was going for and gave us a clear brief and a fair budget to work with, as a result the flowers were in Balsam's own words "Perfect"
~
The plan was to present the Bridal bouquets as our Bride arrived at Ashton Memorial so I had an opportunity to take some pictures of it in this heavenly setting, I included a plethora of sweet scented blooms including Peonies, Lily of the Valley andSweet Peas, fresh Ranunculas, Alchemilla Mollis, Stachys, Balsam's signature flower Gypsophilia and a touch of palest blue Delphinium "Something Blue"completed the design beautifully

The Bridesmaid's carried posies of Gypsophilia
The Bride Groom's Peony Boutonniere complimented his Bride's Bouquet so elegantly
The Groom's Men had Boutonnieres of Stachys and Gypsophilia
Ashton Memorial in Williamson Park Lancaster is perched on top of hill and towers over the magnificent country side, it truly is a magical spot steeped in history

Two of our fragrant Bay trees framed the front door

Once inside the guests were greeted by two pedestals stands topped with huge "Clouds" of Gypsophilia marking the start of the aisle
Posies of Gypsophilia tied with oversized Hessian Bows dressed the end chairs lining the aisle
On the Registrars Tables Balsam's own blue Mason Jars were filled with posies of Gypsophilia, small jars and vessels were placed in between each one containing a posy of beautiful Bridal Flowers
The order of service stationery featured the beautiful blue glass Mason Jars filled with Gypsophilia
Just behind the Registrars table a heart of Gypsophilia hung on the French Windows
In the centre of the aisle just beneath the Rotunda a circular mosaic was framed by two garlands of Gypsophilia

On the table where the Order of Service was being handed out the Bride & Groom's initials were placed we'd created them out of Moss

A quick "Selfie" with my favourite Man
 Gypsophila Chair Dressings

Fabulous Burlap "Welcome Bags" filled full of Bridal Goodies
Chris our Super Handsome Bride Groom complete with his rather special peony Boutonniere
We pinned on all of the Boutonnieres on the special guests

The Bridesmaids were wearing schiffon gowns in a pale dove grey shade their posies of Gypsophilia looked spot on!!

Balsam Looked totally breathtaking when she arrived

Balsam's exquisite gown was from Jenny Packham

Our beautiful Bride was being given away by her Brother

Huge Congratulations to Balsam & Chris from all of the team here at Flower Design Events

Everyone headed outside to take advantage of the sunshine and to get some photographs taken, whilst Jason & I collected up the flowers and headed off with them to the wonderful Northcote

Northcote is a very special venue, not only a stunning space but the most exceptional food and service
We'd dressed the entrance with a heart of Gypsophila, Garlands and Bay Trees

Just inside the entrance the Seating Plan was typed up on this vintage type writer, fresh flowers and a Jo Malone Candle welcomed everyone

In the Bar area, posies of Gypsophila decorated all of the low tables

The magnificent cake was dressed with  fresh flowers

Tall elegant vases topped with huge "Clouds" of Gypsophila dominated the dining tables
Low Mason Jars each one individually decorated with Lace, Jute and bespoke Ribbons and filled with posies of fresh Peonies, Roses, Stocks, Sweet Peas and Antirhinnums
Beautiful "Bowl of Cream" Peonies with white Antirhinnums in a hand decorated jar

The top Table ooked wonderful with Hessian, Slices of Wood, Bark, Mosses and jars filled with fresh flowers and candles

Our work here was done, huge thanks to Balsam & Chris for choosing us to create their bridal flowers we had a thoroughly lovely day with you all!!!xxxx
