Fabulous Winter Wedding at St Lawrence's Church Longridge & West Tower Aughton for Donna & Wayne

Well what can you say about the absolutely fabulous Donna & Wayne, I am going to miss them so much, we have had the best time planning these wedding flowers, and our Friday evening appointments are the stuff of legend!!!!
~
I presented the super lovely Donna with her wedding bouquet and she really couldn't have been more delighted...

Donna's Bridal Bouquet was luscious and full with a wonderful array of texture, blousy English Garden Roses from David Austin, White Ranunculas, Christmas Roses, Astrantia, Eucalyptus Boules, Everygreens and seed heads were all gathered together to create a spectacular Winter wedding bouquet
I showed all of the Bridal Party how to carry their wedding bouquets
The Bridesmaid's Bouquets were smaller versions of the Bridal Bouquet and included all of the colour and texture, Donna and Wayne wanted

The handle of Donna's Bouquet was bound with hessian and finished off with individually stitched on buttons
I pinned on Donna's Mum's Corsage and Dad's Boutonniere before we headed off to St Lawrences in Longridge
The Bride's Mum's Corsage of Rolled White Rose Petals, Hydrangea Florets, Ranunculas and Million Stars

Outside the Church was bathed in winter sunshine, we hung Mistletoe from the Lytch Gate and Candlelit Lanterns

Candlelit Lanterns were hanging from hooks lining the pathway leading up to Church

The Bride Groom's Boutonniere of a delightful Juliet Rose with a collection of Evergreens and Berries, bound with Jute and hand stitched Buttons to match his Bride's Bouquet
Inside this glorious Church, fresh flowers framed the start of the aisle, sat atop our silver pedestal stand, fabulous contorted Branches stretched toward the heavens and were surrounded by voluptuous Roses and Hydrangeas

Posies in dressed Jam Jars filled with a country collection of Astilbe, Roses, Astrantia, Scabious and Thistles were attached to the end of each alternate Pew

I pinned on Wayne's Boutonniere and all of his Groom's Men too

Our Bride Groom Wayne was looking mighty fine and very relaxed as he greeted all of the guests
Juliet Rose Boutonniere with Button Detail

Carol Singers from Preston College entertained us all
Each of the Boutonnieres were individually created and were designed to compliment the relaxed country vibe Donna & Wayne were after

The Three Wise Wedding  Monkeys... Jonny Draper Photographer extraordinaire, with my better half Jason in the centre and the absolutely fabulous Tom Harrington from Silk Wedding Films

Donna's Mum looked fabulous when she arrived at Church with the gorgeous Bridesmaids and Flower Girls

The Bridesmaid's Posies matched their "Cafe Latte" Gowns perfectly and included English Garden Roses, Hydrangeas, Ranunculas and Seassonal Berries and Evergreens
The lovely little Flower Girls carried tiny nosegays of matching blooms

I adored the Page Boys flat caps they looked utterly adorable

The fabulous Donna with her Super Proud Dad were next to arrive

Donna's gorgeous gown was provided the brilliant Emma Draper at Love Bridal Boutique

Donna's Winter Wedding Bouquet in soft warm tones of Caramel, Cinnamon, Apricots, Peaches and Creams looked heavenly with her gown

Huge Congratulations to Donna & Wayne from all of the team here at Flower Design Events

We headed off to the wonderful surroundings of The West Tower at Aughton where the celebrations would continue

Fresh Mistletoe was hanging above the porch and candlelit lanterns illuminated the way
The Stained Glass Window Seating Plan

Inside the party room the scene was set with an array of high and low table designs, fabulous bunting (Made by Donna's amazing Nan) and lovely burlap chair dressings from Creative Cover Hire
Tall elegant vases filled with fir cones and Cinnamon sticks topped with magnificently tall designs of contorted willow, Roses, Hydrangeas and Winter Berries and Evergreens
The low table designs featured individually created "Living Sculptures"

The Wedding Cake was dressed with posies and corsages of fresh flowers

Hurricane lamps surrounded by the "Pew End Posies" looked magical

The Top Table with bell jars, jam jars, Candlesticks and fresh flowers looked so romantic, we'd left extra vases for the bridal bouquets to be placed in

Our work here was done it was time to head for home and leave the party in full swing, what a magical and memorable day this was, huge thanks to Donna & Wayne for choosing Flower Design Events to create their wedding flowers for them!!!
