Lake District Loveliness for Sarah & Adam's Wedding at The Wild Boar in Crook
Josie and I had the most wonderful day last weekend with Sarah & Adam at The Wild Boar in Crook, we arrived bright & early (Perhaps a little too early but you never know if you're going to get stuck behind some cows) , now this is the thing about The Wild Boar regardless of your role; supplier or guest the welcome is warm, they are hospitable, they know about looking after people which makes it always an absolute joy to work there, Josie & I were seated in front of a roaring fire given a delicious pot of coffee whilst we waited for the breakfast service to be over!!!
The look for this day was a little random much like the venue, lots of beautiful homely details in un-expected places, vases of Gypsophilia in decorated jam jars alongside the wellington boots!!!
Our beautiful Bride Sarah had made her own Button & Brooch Bouquet so it was a presentation of Bridesmaid's Bouquets
The big reveal always brings smiles to everyones faces
The posies were simple and elegant beautiful Avalanche Roses with Snowflake Rose buds with Rolled Skeleton Leaves amid a cloud of Gypsophilia
The Bouquet carrying lesson...
The Bride's Mum's Boutonniere of an Avalanche Rose with Rolled Skeleton Leaves, Gypsophila and Chocolate Ribbon to compliment the Bridesmaids Bouquets and the Bride's Mum's ensemble
The Bride's father's Boutonniere of fresh Gypsophilia enveloped in a Skeleton Leaf the stem was bound with silver grey Ribbon and tied with a pale gold shoelace ribbon bow
The Bridesmaids were wearing a combination of gowns this is the beautiful gold prom dress, the other maids were wearing a silvery pewter grey gown
The Bridesmaids Posies of Roses and Gypsophilia with the autumnal skeleton leaves looked perfect with the golden gowns
The Wild Boars Land Rover
The Bride Groom's Boutonniere designed to compliment his Bride's Brooch & Button Bouquet a cluster of Snowflake Rose with Gypsophila and Pearls and Buttons enveloped in two Skeleton Leaves and bound with silver grey Ribbon
Each Boutonniere was finished individually with a slightly different ribbon combination using the signature shades of silver, gold and ivory
The Boutonnieres were all lined up ready for us to pin them on their rightful owners
For the ceremony we had dresses all of the available surfaces with a collection of posies in bottles, jam jars and various vessels alongside candlelit votives
Our super handsome Bride Groom the lovely Adam complete with his rather special boutonniere
The Registrars table was a beautiful collection of seasonal materials, I'd been out in the woods foraging for Autumn leaves and crab apples which helped create a sense of the place and the time of year
Beautiful Ladies Mum's and Grandma's had their Boutonnieres pinned in place
The fabulously random aisle was illuminated with candlelit lanterns, mosses and fresh fragrant Rose Petals
Our lovely antiquated Bird Bath filled with a cloud of fairy lit Gypsophilia covered with a protective glass cloche and then surrounded by Horse Chestnuts, Fir Cones, Autumn Leaves and Crab apples looked superb on the Registrars table and later on the top table
The guests took their seats awaiting the arrival of our beautiful Bridal party
In the lounge the Bridesmaids were all ready as the Bride made her way down the stairs
Sarah looked breathtaking and we loved her headdress

Whilst the Bride & Groom were congratulated by their guests and enjoyed the delicious Wild Boar Canapes along with the fabulous banqueting team we transformed the Ceremony Room into a magnificent banqueting hall
