The Majestic Wedding Day of Jennifer & James at Hoghton Tower

This really is a fabulous couple who had splendid plans for an outdoor wedding at HoghtonTower however the weather conspired against us, the heavens opened and their wedding day was showered with Blessings in the extreme, but that didn't dampen anyone's spirits, a spectacular wedding ensued....
So the ceremony moved to the seriously grand surroundings of the Great Hall at Hoghton Tower where two of our huge pedestal designs framed the ceremony space perfectly

The Registrars design was dominated by two pillar candles and lots of contorted Hazel a luscious collection of seasonal blooms and foliages; Calla Lilies, Roses, Larkspur, Nerines, Hydrangeas and Snowberry creating a beautifully fragrant focal point
The ginormous pedestal designs of tall towering willow with larkspur, Hydrangeas, September Flower, Lissianthus, Roses, Palms, Ivy, Eucalyptus and Sperenegrii
Outside the steps leading to the front door were dressed with candlelit lanterns
The huge stone plinth in the centre of the courtyard was decorated with a massive lantern and a garland of fresh flowers surrounding it

Candlelit lanterns and posies of fresh flowers lined the pathway from the front gate all the way up to the courtyard

Inside the Boutonnieres were ready to be pinned on all of the special guests
James our super handsome Bride Groom was first to have his rather special Boutonniere pinned on by Jason

James was wearing a Boutonniere of Fresh Lily of the Valley, Schwartzwalder Calla Lily and a an Ocean Song Rose
The Groom's Men were all wearing Schwartzwalder Calla Lilies, Thalaspi, Wax Flower with Viburnum Berries & Ivy

Whilst everyone enjoyed drinks and canapes a transformation was taking place in the Great Hall
Tall dramatic table designs created a rustic "foresty" vibe
The windowsills were dressed with candlelit lanterns with posies of fresh flowers
Tall elegant designer vases filled with autumnal Guourdes, Skeleton Leaves, Horse Chestnuts, Acorns and Fir Cones topped with two metre tall willow dancing plumes of fresh Sperengerii, Calla Lilies, Roses, Hydrangeas, Berries and Anthuriums
Three of my favourite gents Jason, Jonny Draper & Ben Glover from Rowleys Catering

On the table tops around the base of the vases were dressed with Fir Cones, "Baby Boo" Guourdes, Horse Chestnuts, Dried Eucalyptus and Skeleton
The top table was dressed with our "Fleur de Lys" a three placement design each one included candles, lots of Roses, Calla Lilies, contorted Hazel and Snowberries

I adored this exquisite deep purple wedding bouquet of Calla Lilies, Lissianthus, Calla lilies, Lily of the Valley, Albiflora Brunia, Viburnum Tinus, Waxflower Blossom, Eucalyptus, Astrantia, Peppermint, Oregano and Rosemary

Our work here was done, huge thanks to Jennifer, James and their amazing families for choosing Flower Design Events to create their wedding flowers...
